I organised the same sort of ride last year for the TdF and had a lovely ride with @Ved followed with beers and pizza while watching the racing.
It will consist of a relaxed 90k ride from Richmond Park followed by pizza and a beer somewhere we can watch the cycling. Most probably Dynamo Putney.
The stage looks like a total beast, Gavia followed by the Mortirolo topped off with an uphill finish up the Ponte de Legno. More details here http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/giro-ditalia-2019-5-key-stages/
As the Giro has seen some hugely exciting racing in the last few years it should be a cracker.
Am so in. Thanks for organising this Princess P.
I would be in, but I am on holibobs.
I like this idea... will try to get the day off work, init.
Amy said yes, so all is left is for work to give the 👍🏻
Work says no 😥
Unless, how early could we finish the ride bit?
What time do you need to be at work?
Might be able to negotiate a half day... start work at 12:30 or 1 😵
You could come along and head back in after a bit.
This is on Tuesday, currently looking like me and @Mat.
Anyone else fancy taking a day off of work and joining us?
Does anyone have a medium summer jersey to lend Nick?
Need to have a sartorial congruence and apparently Nick does not own a summer jersey #badgrump
Away pal.... Crete... it will be hot and full of rabid stray dogs...
Would love to join but it is half-term #bunkermentality
That was ace.
Pitstop to buy Nick some new Speedplay cleats.
Spot of rain.
We all did some epic work on the front.
Sorry I could not join in the post ride refuel, but I had clienty stuff.
