Thread for Giro bantz.
Looking forward to the Welshman winning it.
I'm going for Landa (despite being half welsh)... much to prove
If he does, I'll buy you a pint.
In fact, I'll buy everyone in the club a pint.
I think you will be keeping your wallet firmly tucked away, Andy :0)
I'd like to say Quintana, I can't put my finger on why, but I just don't like him. Mollema or Jungels Is Massive for me.
Mollema or Jungels
Mollema or Jungels
I'd love to see Pinot win. A Hugh Carthy stage win would make me even happier.
But it's hard to look past Quintana for the GC at the moment, assuming he can stay upright.
Quintana is Welsh?
No, I went out on the bike.
Ah, that'll be why then....
Who is going to win today's stage?
Not many sprinters to choose from, especially after Ruffoni's DNS.
Gaviria, Ewen, Greipel or Nizzolo.
Bet no-one predicted the actual winner!
I got second, third and fourth. But yes, no-one was expecting that. Great initiative and he made it look easy.
Eurosport coverage...Jonathan Edwards...he really reminds me of @Demeaux. Same bins and mannerisms. Plus they are both track and field athletes.
I want to move to Italy....
Same terrible pronunciation of Italian?
Will have to get a few beers in Damo and find out :)
Mi dispiace ma il mio Italiano e spazzatura. Credo.
What's that you say, crosswinds? And quickstep? And we know when the winds will be worst?
B o o f.
It's been a great first three stages. I keep expecting to watch first week tedium and getting good racing instead. It obvs helps to only watch the highlights of course.
Got home last night, Emma was not well, so she decided to take an early night.
Yeeeesssss! Can watch the Giro highlights whilst having dinner and without interruption.
Noooooooooo!!! Rest day. :-(
Nice to see you keeping up.
Nibali's got to have a little poke today, right?
I think it could be cagey affair, but I hope I'm wrong.
