Yeah, knowledge varies. I just helped a guy at work pump up his tyre (and while I was at it I tightened his front brake).
I live opposite this place. The pricing is in my opinion always a bit overpriced but you are getting something that has been serviced in house ( I sometimes get my bike done by them as they are ok) and I think you get a warranty.
They are decent guys and the coffee is very nice.
Might be an option if you want peace of mind on a 2nd hand option.
Cool Giant CX bike.
Someone will tell me that it's overpriced tho!
You can haggle with them, but they have quite high end stuff.
Its overpriced, not much more new.
BBs should to be easy. Bearing drifts and presses can do one. Whoever came up with press fit systems needs to be taking out back and put down. What the fuck is wrong with threading BB shells? Yes, the Cannondale is still clicking :(
Jason - praxis ?!
It will always say ride with spirit on the top-tube in arial.
At this point I can get the CAAD12 105 through Cycle2Work brand new which is going to be hard to beat at its price (coming out around 700). Appreciate the help Ved but I think unless I find an absolute steal a new bike is going to be the way to go!
Ah. Deffo do that then.
It's not Arial
Something something pun based on akzi danz?
It's Futura on that frame (I'm pretty sure) and I think they use Gotham rounded on some other frames. Either way - both are more than acceptable choices. Typesetting might be a bit rubbish though.
@PhilChannon when is the new bike arriving?
